Semarang, Saturday, 7 February 2026 — Diponegoro National Hospital (RSND) of Universitas Diponegoro held the peak celebration of its 10th anniversary under the theme “A Decade of RSND: Accelerating Competency-, Empathy-, and Innovation-Based Services.” The event marked an important milestone in commemorating a decade of RSND’s dedication to providing healthcare services, medical education, and the development of innovation.
The event was attended by the Rector of Universitas Diponegoro; the Vice Rector II of Universitas Diponegoro; the Dean and Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Medicine; the Chairperson of Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of Universitas Diponegoro; the Chairperson of DWP of the Faculty of Medicine; invited guests; and former members of RSND’s board of directors.
The series of activities began in the morning with registration for a group exercise session and a fun walk, which were attended by RSND’s civitas hospitalia and their families. These activities reflected the spirit of promoting a healthy lifestyle while strengthening togetherness in commemorating RSND’s 10th anniversary.
The ceremonial event officially opened with a prayer, followed by speeches delivered by the President Director of RSND, dr. Agus Setiyo Hadipurwanto, M.Kes., and the Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si. In his remarks, the Rector expressed his appreciation for RSND’s contributions over the past ten years in supporting healthcare services, medical education, and the advancement of research and innovation.
As the highlight of the celebration, a tumpeng-cutting ceremony was held, followed by the handover of an ambulance donated by Bank BTN. The ambulance was symbolically presented by the Rector of Universitas Diponegoro to the President Director of RSND. This moment marked a decade of RSND’s journey and reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving the quality of healthcare services for the community.
The celebration continued with musical performances, appearances by the winners of RSND Idol, the distribution of door prizes, and the presentation of awards to the best-performing work units and the winners of the innovation competitions. Various entertainment activities and an MSME bazaar further enlivened the celebration of RSND’s 10th anniversary.
Through the commemoration of its 10th anniversary, RSND reaffirmed its commitment to moving forward in delivering professional, compassionate, and innovative healthcare services, in line with the spirit of “A Decade of RSND: Accelerating Competency-, Empathy-, and Innovation-Based Services.”
